Welcome to the course

Welcome to participate in this free, open online course (OOC) on digital forensics. The course is available to participants until 04/03/2021.

The course will lead you to the world of IT investigation by providing information on cybercrime and the inspection of cyber attacks. The content is suitable for both those unfamiliar with the subject and those already having previous knowledge and know-how in this regard.

The course is part of the implementation of the European Union funded CyberSecurity4Europe research and development project. The aim of the project is to build a future cyber security competence network in Europe to tackle the issues of digital transformation and digitalization. The course material has been prepared by JAMK University of Applied Sciences from Finland.

Start the course with the Course Introduction in the left column and proceed page by page towards the course finish. The course Introduction contains the more precise instructions for completing the course and the basic technical prerequisites set for the course. On the introduction page you will also find the course assignments and the materials needed to complete them.
